The secretariat, in close collaboration with international organizations and practitioners, has developed training tools aimed at strengthening the capacity of project developers in developing countries to prepare technology transfer projects for financing. This has been undertaken with a view to enhancing the implementation of the results of the technology needs assessments.
The aim of this guidebook is to assist project developers in developing countries in preparing financing proposals that will meet the standards of international finance providers. Better projects, increased funding and shorter funding cycles can be achieved through tools, such as financial software, that are accessible to both project developers and finance providers.
