Task

The Technology sub-programme has the task of devising options to implement the Convention and Protocol commitments on the development and transfer of climate-friendly technologies. It is responsible for supporting the deliberations of the SBSTA on this issue by, for example, organizing roundtables and other specialist meetings on technology and preparing documentation, including technical papers. The sub-programme liaises with other organizations working on technology related issues, such as the IEA and OECD.
