For prospective contracts with a value above US$ 40,000, UNFCCC will advertise a Request for
Expression of Interest (EOI).
The notice(s) is/are posted for information only and do(es) not constitute an invitation to bid or to
submit proposals. The UNFCCC reserves the right to change or cancel these requirements at any time in
the EOI and/or solicitation process. The UNFCCC Procurement and General Services Unit considers a
firm’s qualifications and experience in the particular commodity/service area, and previous
performance, when preparing a list of invitees. Thus submitting an EOI does not automatically
guarantee a firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.
Firms/organizations interested in a particular EOI that are not yet included in the UNFCCC vendor
roster must submit applications
indicating the EOI reference number and subject along with detailed information demonstrating
experience and qualifications in provision of the relevant commodities/services.
Interested firms/organizations who are already included in the UNFCCC vendor roster should
immediately forward their EOI to the attention of the referenced Procurement Officer, giving the EOI
reference number and subject.
Please note that each EOI forwarded to the Procurement and General Services Unit must be sent under a
separate facsimile transmission or letter.
