Procurement for the UNFCCC secretariat
Procurement for the secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is
carried out by the Procurement and General Services Unit (PGSU) and aims to secure cost-efficient,
high-quality and environmentally friendly goods and services.
In accordance with United Nations rules and regulations, the procurement of the UNFCCC secretariat is
undertaken with the goal to ensure that all required goods and services are obtained at competitive prices
and in a fair and transparent manner.
The procurement activities of the UNFCCC secretariat cover a wide range of office equipment, ICT equipment
and services, conference equipment and services, office supplies and furniture, and various other
requirements such as shipment of personal effects and shipment of conference equipment.
