A ceremony to honour the life and work of Ms. Joke Waller-Hunter, Executive Secretary, who passed away on 14 October 2005, took place on Tuesday, 25 October 2005 at 15:00 in Bonn. 

The ceremony happened in the "Wasserwerk" building in the Internationales Kongresszentrum Bundeshaus Bonn, Hermann-Ehlers-Strasse 29, 53113 Bonn.   The programme for the ceremony (42 kB) was distributed on that day.

A commemorative event will also be organized in Montreal for participants attending the eleventh session of the Conference of the Parties and the first session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol.  Details will be communicated in due course.
