UNFCCC side event at COP17: Funding for climate observations

The objective of this side event was to illustrate how observations for climate in developing countries are funded, including in the context of the GEF, the GCOS Cooperation Mechanisms and others, and discuss existing needs as well as potential options for further strengthening the funding for climate observations.
