Climate Data, Information and Services

Copernicus Climate Change Service
Provides information to increase the knowledge base to support adaptation and mitigation policies.
CORDEX
The CORDEX vision is to advance and coordinate the science and application of regional climate downscaling through global partnerships
GEOSS Portal
Entry point to Earth Observation data from all over the world. Discover, access, contribute Earth observations, information and services
Global Framework for Climate Services (GCFS) - Climate Services Information System
Principal GFCS mechanism through which information about climate – past, present and future – is archived, analyzed, modeled, exchanged and processed
Global Observing Systems Information Center (GOSIC) Portal
Serves as a clearinghouse providing convenient, central, one-stop access to data, data products, metadata and information for the GCOS, GOOS and GTOS and their partner programs such as the Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW) and the regional observing systems such as the GOOS Regional Alliances.
International Climate Assessment & dataset (ICA&D)
Information on changes in weather and climate extremes, as well as the daily dataset needed to monitor and analyse these extremes
IPCC Data Distribution Centre
The DDC provides climate, socio-economic and environmental data, both from the past and also in scenarios projected into the future. Technical guidelines on the selection and use of different types of data and scenarios in research and assessment are also provided
IPCC Fifth Assessment Report
The most comprehensive assessment of scientific knowledge on climate change. It was released in four parts: WGI, WGII, WGIII and Synthesis Reports between September 2013 and November 2014
NASA Earth Exchange Global Daily Downscaled Projections (NEX-GDDP) dataset
Providing downscaled climate model outputs for every country in the world
NASA Global Climate Change: Vital Signs of the Planet
Providing accurate and timely news and information about Earth’s changing climate, along with current data and visualizations
Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) Climate Explorer
A research tool to investigate the climate and statistically analyse climate data
