| Media Training Workshop for developing country journalists | ||||||||

Bonn, 8 to 12 June 2009 The media training workshop is a capacity-building initiative targeting developing country journalists. The media workshops "on the road to Copenhagen" in 2009 are possible through capacity-building support provided by Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian Governments, and Com+, an alliance of communicators for sustainable development. Other collaborating organizations are: Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership ( REEP), United Nations University (UNU), and CARE International. The topics that will be discussed at the Bonn workshop comprise the status of UN climate change negotiations, including some topics that relate to the central building blocks of the Copenhagen agreement, mainly focussing finance and technology, adaptation and mitigation. The journalists will also attend several press briefings and side events.
