Information for Preparation of National Communications and Biennial Reports of Developed Country Parties
 

A number of COP decisions should be taken into account when preparing national communications and biennial reports and can be found below for reference.

Revision of the “Guidelines for the preparation of NCs by Parties included in Annex I to the Convention, Part II: UNFCCC reporting guidelines on NCs”

Decision 2/CP.17 requested SBI 40 (Bonn, June 2013) to begin the revision of the “Guidelines for the preparation of NCs by Parties included in Annex I to the Convention, Part II: UNFCCC reporting guidelines on NCs”, based on the experiences gained in preparing the first BRs and other information.

 At SBI 46 (Bonn, May 2017), Parties considered the draft decision and the  pdf-icon draft guidelines  focusing the discussion on para. 71, which is the only paragraph that remains in brackets and agreed to continue the consideration of this agenda item at SBI 50 (Bonn, June 2019).
