Reducing emissions from deforestation in developing countries: approaches to stimulate action – a quick guide to the SBSTA agenda item under the UNFCCC
 

The negotiations on "Reducing emissions from deforestation in developing countries: approaches to stimulate action" under the UNFCCC are an ongoing process since it was introduced as an item into the agenda of the Conference of Parties (COP) at its eleventh session in Montreal in December 2005.  Important meetings and events as well as key documents in this process are shown in their chronological order in the below tables.
