GFIS.net (Global Forest Information Service) is an internet gateway to forest information.
This web portal informs about news, events, recent publications, library and document
collections as well as datasets and databases and other information related to forests
and forestry. GFIS is an initiative by the Collaborative Partnership on Forests
(CPF), led by the International Union of Forest Research Institutions (IUFRO). GFIS.net
is maintained by the Finnish Forest Research Institute (Metla).
