Warsaw Climate Change Conference - November 2013

Information for members of the press

  • Accreditation

The deadline for accreditation to COP 19/CMP 9 was 8 November.  The secretariat has received a high number of accreditation applications and will be enforcing a quota for the maximum level of participants in relation to the physical capacity of the conference and media facilities, taking into account other participants and fire and security regulations.

Late applications may still be submitted and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If the applicant's credentials meet UN criteria and there is space, the accreditation will be processed. There is, however, no guarantee that it will be possible to allow access to the conference for late applicants.
