Start the application process by submitting the online accreditation form.
Bona fide representatives of the national and international media can apply for accreditation for the
Ad hoc Working Group (AWG) and the Dialogue on long-term cooperative action to address climate change
by enhancing implementation of the Convention. Only one accreditation is required and will cover
participation in the Ad hoc Working Group and the Dialogue.
Deadline: The deadline for accreditation was Wednesday, 15 August
2007. Please note that we can still receive accreditation requests received after this date;
however, there could be a delay in processing.

- All participants are requested to register upon arrival at the desk located at the Austria Center
Vienna.
- A valid photo ID should be presented to the registration staff.
- As of Saturday, 25 August 2007 the "no registration, no access" rule shall be strictly
applied and will be enforced throughout the period of the sessions.
- Early registration on Saturday, 25 August or Sunday, 26 August is highly recommended to avoid
delays.
- Nomination to the fourth session of the AWG will also allow participants to attend the dialogue on
long-term cooperative action to address climate change by enhancing implementation of the Convention.
Registration hours - PLEASE NOTE CHANGES
- Saturday, 25 August 2007: From 14:00 to 18:00
- Sunday , 26 August 2007: From 9:00 to 17:00
- Monday, 27 to Friday 31 August 2007: From 07:30 to 15:30
Outside of these times, only registered participants shall get access to the premises.
Members of the press who already hold a valid accreditation to the VIC may use their current badge to
access the conference premises.
Double registration for the session is not permitted (i.e., State representative and observer
organization representative, or state representative and press/media representative).
Badges are essential in order for participants to gain access to the premises. They are issued only
upon approval of the accreditation application. For security reasons, all participants are requested to
wear their badges at all times.
In order to reduce costs, badges for the session will be produced in Bonn and taken to Vienna.
Consequently, participants are strongly advised to forward their accreditation applications to the
secretariat as soon as possible so that they can be processed in a timely manner.
All foreign delegates entering the Republic of Austria must have a valid passport. Participants
requiring a visa for Austria, or a transit visa, are strongly encouraged to contact the appropriate
consular authorities as soon as this notification is received. The issuance of a visa for the Schengen
States may take several weeks from the date of submission of the visa application. For more
information, please contact the Austrian Embassy competent for your home country. Contact details for
all Austrian Embassies are available on the website of the Austrian Foreign Ministry (please
select the appropriate country and the search criterion "Austrian Representation" under
"Country information" in the right hand corner of the window).
