Ghobad Shiva (Iran) An Art Director and Graphic Designer working on posters, magazines, covers, illustrations, ads, and environmental designs, Mr Shiva holds an MS Degree in Communications Design from Pratt Institute (NY) and BA in Fine Arts. Mr Shiva is a lecturer at Tehran Universities, Member of the Board of Directors of Iran Graphic Designers Society and a member of AGI. He was recently appointed as Director of the 8th International Poster Biennial (Tehran). Mr Shiva has won international prizes and awards in creative design, including a diploma from 8th Biennial Brno/CZ. Alina Suárez Cowley (Costa Rica) Having studied Information Design at the Industrial Design Polytechnic Institute (IPDI)(1991), Ms Suárez is an experienced graphic designer whose work covers design and illustrations for: postal stamps, books, field guides, cards and publicity campaigns. Her works have been displayed in Spain, Cuba, Japan and Costa Rica amongst others. Ms Suárez works with oil on canvas and in gouache technique.
