Julián Naranjo (Chile) Born in Santiago, Chile and managing his own design company, Mr Naranjo has
received numerous awards, including the Gold Medal from the Art Directors Club in New York. His posters have
been selected for international Biennales; his works have been published in inter- national yearbooks and, he
has represented Latin America in many global communication projects, such as "People to People". In
1992, he participated in the expositions "30 posters for the environment" in Rio de Janeiro and
"America today - 500 years later" in Mexico City. He graduated in Design (Honors) from the
University of Chile (1978) and has worked in the USA.
