Mignonne van Vuuren (South Africa) Working as a freelance art director and painter, Ms van Vuuren studied Sculpture and Graphic Design at Pretoria Technicon, in Pretoria, South Africa and has a national diploma in both. Her experience includes over thirteen years in art, design and advertising including conceptual art direction and illustration. She works with various mediums, especially oil on canvas and uses rich warm colors to create vibrant works of art. Her work was recently acknowledged by the selectors of the South African Art Foundation and will be exhibited in 2003.
