fields of our Request Form and submit to meetingrequest@unfccc.int.
During sessions (28 November to 9 December), meeting room requests can only be submitted on site at the
MRA Counter, located inside the ICC conference center.
Please observe our Meeting Room Assignment Policy:
· Rooms are assigned for a maximum of 1 hour per Party/Organization ONLY, free of charge;
· Meeting room reservations are made on a provisional basis and their final confirmation depends
on the needs and demands of the negotiating process, which shall supersede the needs and demands of
others.
· It would be advisable that you reconfirm your reservation with our staff at the meeting room
assignment counter (in the conference premises) at least two hours before the meeting in case there are
any last minute changes;
· If all meeting rooms are in use and meetings of the Convention and the Kyoto Protocol require
other rooms, the secretariat may request you to vacate the room in which you are holding your meeting,
if the specifications of your meeting room coincide with the requirements of those meetings;
· No food and drinks are allowed inside meeting rooms.
Press briefing
In order to facilitate delegations wishing to hold press/media briefings during the forthcoming sessions,
the secretariat requests that delegations inform it in advance to what extent they intend to hold such
briefings during the sessions. This will facilitate adequate logistical and technical arrangements to be
put in place. Delegations should complete the
form
available here and submit directly to the UNFCCC Press Office, PRESS(AT)UNFCCC.INT.
