The second part of the first session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP 1-2) was held in conjunction with the eighteenth session of the Conference of the Parties at the Qatar National Convention Centre in Doha, Qatar.

The conclusions adopted by the ADP at the second part of its first session are contained in the report on the session.

ADP Roundtables under Workstreams 1 and 2

The Co-Chairs of the ADP continued the rich exchange that was initiated in the roundtable setting in Bangkok, with the aim of building upon and advancing the discussions under both workstreams. They focused the discussions on the topics specified in paragraphs 4 and 8 of their “pdf-icon reflection note (84 kB) ” issued on 5 October. The Co-Chairs have issued summaries of the roundtables under both workstream.

Special Event

The ADP Co-Chairs convened a pdf-icon Special Event (250 kB) on Saturday, 1 December 2012, from 1:00-3:00 pm, to further engage observers in the work of the ADP by providing an opportunity for them to present their substantive ideas and engage in an in-depth discussion.
