Information about border controlTop
Border checks at internal Schengen borders have been reintroduced by Denmark as a temporary measure
from 1 – 18 December as a result of increased security requirements in relation to the hosting of
COP 15 and to ensure public order.
Border checks will be carried out at Denmark's land, air and sea borders with its Schengen
neighbouring countries, as the situation requires.
All travellers may therefore experience border control checks during this period and are advised to
carry their passport on them when crossing borders.
