Learning about climate change - ten years on
Ten years on, there are some real success stories about how information, training and public
awareness actvities under the convention (Article 6)have evolved and improved. Rapid devlopments in
our scientific understanding of climate change have coincided with rapid developments in our use of
information and communication technologies to tell the climate change story. Here we focus on just
one area, access to the resuls of climate models. We begin with the IPCC Third Assessment Report,
then look at some successful examples and end with a guess at possible futuredevelopments in the
area.
