For the past several years USAID and the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) have been supporting the development of a web site containing information on climate technology efforts. This talk on US-sponsored international climate technology cooperation programs and projects will focus on activities undertaken in partnership with developing and transition countries.

"Sawdust 2000" Joint Implementation project: A success story in Romania 

Sawdust 2000 is a Joint Implementation project developed in 2003/2004 in 5 small to medium size towns of Romania in cooperation with Denmark. It is a fuel switching project from coal and gas to biomass and the benefits of the project are important both at the local and national level and from the environmental and social point of view.
