Facilitative Sharing of Views

The third workshop of the Facilitative Sharing of Views (FSV) will take place on Monday 15 May 2017 during the forty-sixth session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) in Bonn, Germany.

Ten non-Annex I Parties will present on their mitigation actions and effects, support needed and received and other relevant information reported in their BURs. After each presentation, there will be an exchange of questions and answers with other Parties.

Submissions to be considered at SBI 46

For SBI 46, calls are invited on the following topics:

- Revision of the modalities and procedures for international assessment and review (IAR)

- Gender and climate change

- Periodic assessment of the Technology Mechanism

- Action for Climate empowerment (ACE)

- Effective engagement of non-Party stakeholders

- Review of the functions of the Standing Committee on Finance (SCF)

- Capacity-building under the Convention and under the Kyoto Protocol

- Review of the Adaptation Fund

Multilateral assessment

The second round of the multilateral assessment (MA) will take place on 12 and 13 May 2017 during the forty-sixth session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) in Bonn, Germany.

18 Annex I Parties will give a short oral presentation at the beginning of their MA session that summarizes questions received and answers provided during the three-month question and answer period or any supplementary information.
