All media representatives must be accredited for the sessions. Information on accreditation
Deadline: There is no set deadline for accreditation. Media
representatives may accredit through the final day of the conference(s). Nevertheless, it is recommend
to apply as early as possible.

- All participants are requested to register upon arrival at the desk located in the Barcelona
Convention Centre.
- A valid photo ID should be presented to the registration staff.
- As of Tuesday, 27 October 2009, the "no registration, no access" rule will be strictly
applied and will be enforced throughout the period of the sessions.
- Early registration is highly recommended to avoid delays.
Registration opening hours:
Tuesday, 27 October 2009 until Friday, 6 November 2009, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (please note: the
premises are closed on Sunday, 1 November, unless otherwise announced)
Double registration for the session is not permitted (i.e., as State representative and observer
organization representative, or as State representative and press/media representative).
Press badges issued at previous UNFCCC conferences do not remain valid. Members of the press must be
accredited for each meeting.
Badges are essential in order for participants to gain access to the premises. They are issued only on
the basis of accreditation as a media professional representing a bona fide media organizations.
For security reasons, all participants are requested to wear their badges at all times.
All foreign delegates entering Spain must have a valid passport. Participants requiring a visa for
Spain or a transit visa are strongly encouraged to contact the appropriate consular authorities as soon
as possible. The issuance of a visa for the Schengen States may take up to two weeks from the date of

Media representatives are responsible for making their own hotel reservations.
