UNFCCC documents relating to AIJ

As mentioned in the section Background of AIJ, at COP1, Parties decided to establish a pilot phase for activities implemented jointly. However, discussions relevant to AIJ started much earlier (INC 8 (7 to 18 February 1994) under the agenda item "Matters Relating to Commitments - Criteria for Joint Implementation". Please find here below a list of all relevant documents prepared since that session. Some of those documents are available for online view or for downloading others (mainly those containing 'Misc.' in their document symbol) exist only in hard copy.
