Abstract
This note provides information on the informal meeting of Parties organized by the secretariat under the guidance of the Chair of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) in order to further elaborate the draft indicative list of activities of the five-year programme of work of the SBSTA on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change. In the view of the Chair of the SBSTA, this note presents the common understanding of the initial activities of the programme of work that emerged from the discussion at the meeting. The SBSTA may wish to consider this information with a view to identifying the initial activities starting in 2006
