Responding to climate change - Solutions aux changements climatiques.
This edition of RTCC analyses the state of play in the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). Gareth Phillips of SGS Climate Change Programme guides us through the validation, verification and certification of CDM project activities, and Janet Ranganathan of the World Research Institute explains the challenges of quantifying greenhouse gases (GHG) and the benefits of the GHG Protocol Initiative. Also included in this year's publication of Responding to Climate Change, are case studies on Kyoto mechanism activities, finance and funding, research and training, development risk management, environmental management systems and applications, and innovations in the field of energy, earth sciences, forestry, transport, manufacturing and agriculture.
