CDM Executive Board

The CDM Executive Board supervises the CDM, under the authority and guidance of the COP/MOP, and is fully accountable to the COP/MOP (see also Modalities and procedures of the CDM: Role of the Executive Board (Decision 17/CP.7)

In accordance with the provisions to facilitate the prompt start of the CDM (Decision 17/CP.7), the Conference of the Parties to the Convention (COP) takes the role of COP/MOP until entry into force of the Kyoto Protocol.
