Abstract
The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice invited Parties and admitted observer organizations to submit to the secretariat, by 17 September 2012, their views on issues related to a more comprehensive accounting of anthropogenic emissions by sources and removals by sinks from land use, land-use change and forestry, including through a more inclusive activity-based approach or a land-based approach, as referred to in decision 2/CMP.7, paragraph 5. The secretariat has received three such submissions from Parties. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing. In line with established practice, the one submission received from an intergovernmental organization and the three submissions received from non-governmental organizations have been posted on the UNFCCC website
