Report on the regional workshop on the implementation of Article 6 in Asia and the Pacific. Note by the secretariat.

The regional workshop on the implentation of Article 6 of the Convention in Asia and the Pacific was held in Bali, Indonesia, on 14–-16 October 2009. Participants shared experiences, lessons learned and good practices in developing and implementing national education, training, and outreach programmes and activities, and discussed options and strategies for strengthening and expanding these activities. Participants recommended a list of issues that could be considered in promoting and supporting the implementation of Article 6 and the amended New Delhi work programme on Article 6 of the Convention in Asia and the Pacific
