The Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol, at its seventh session, requested its Chair to prepare a proposal for amendments to the Kyoto Protocol, pursuant to its Article 3, paragraph 9, for consideration at its eighth session. The annex to this document contains proposals for amendments to Annex B to the Kyoto Protocol and consequential amendments to the Protocol flowing from the amendments to Annex B. The annex is based on textual proposals submitted by Parties
