Views on possible elements for amendments to the Kyoto Protocol pursuant to its Article 3, paragraph 9. Submissions from Parties.

The Chair of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP) at its seventh session, invited Parties to submit to the secretariat, by 4 April 2009, proposals in the form of legal text in relation to the work of the AWG-KP on the possible elements for amendments to the Kyoto Protocol pursuant to its Article 3, paragraph 9. He requested the secretariat to compile the submissions into a miscellaneous document. The secretariat has received 11 such submissions. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing
