Views on the areas of focus set out in section IV of the terms of reference for the review and assessment of the effectiveness of the implementation of Article 4, paragraphs 1(c) and 5, of the Convention agreed at the twenty-ninth session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation. Submissions from Parties and relevant organizations.

The Conference of the Parties, by its decision 2/CP.14, paragraph 3, invited Parties and relevant organizations to make submissions to the secretariat, by 16 February 2009, in accordance with paragraph 9 of the terms of reference for the review and assessment of the effectiveness of the implementation of Article 4, paragraph 1(c) and 5, of the Convention, contained in the annex to document FCCC/SBI/2008/L.28. The secretariat has received 11 such submissions. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are contained in this document and reproduced in the languages in which they were received and without formal editing.
