Information on economic diversification. Submissions from relevant organizations.

At its twenty-fifth session, the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) invited relevant organizations to submit to the secretariat, by 17 August 2007, information on examples of measures, methodologies and tools to increase the economic resilience of, and reduce reliance on, vulnerable sectors. It requested the secretariat to compile these submissions into a miscellaneous document to be made available to the SBSTA by its twenty-seventh session (FCCC/SBSTA/2006/11, para. 69). The secretariat has received one such submission. This submission was received on 15 August 2007. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, the submission is attached and reproduced∗ in the language in which it was received and without formal editing.
