Views on the mandate and terms of reference of the Consultative Group of Experts on National Communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention. Submissions from Parties.

At its twenty-fourth session, the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), invited Parties to submit to the secretariat, by 15 August 2007, their views on the mandate and terms of reference of the Consultative Group of Experts on National Communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention (FCCC/SBI/2006/11, para. 28). At its twenty-sixth session, the SBI reiterated its invitation for Parties to submit their views and requested the secretariat to compile these views into a miscellaneous document for consideration by the SBI at its twenty-seventh session (FCCC/SBI/2007/15, para. 30). The secretariat has received 11 such submissions. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproduced* in the language in which they were received and without formal editing.
