This report provides an overview of the implementation of the work programme of the Consultative Group of Experts on National Communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention (CGE) for the period 2003 to 2007. The report outlines elements of the possible future role of the CGE in supporting Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention in improving the preparation of their national communications, based on the lessons learned and insights gained from the implementation of the group’s work programme
