This document contains reports on the fifth and sixth meetings of the Consultative Group of Experts on National Communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention (CGE) relating to the implementation of its work plan for 2005–2006. It also contains a report on the CGE hands-on training workshop on vulnerability and adaptation assessments for the Asia and the Pacific region held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 20 to 24 March 2006. The Subsidiary Body for Implementation, after having considered the lessons learned and the recommendations by the CGE, may wish to provide additional guidance on the implementation of the remaining regional hands-on training workshops and the activities of the CGE for 2006
