Summary report on topics covered at the workshops on mitigation of climate change. Note by the secretariat.
After considering the Third Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), at its eighteenth session, decided to initiate work on two new agenda items: scientific, technical and socio-economic aspects of impacts of, and vulnerability and adaptation to, climate change; and scientific, technical and socio-economic aspects of mitigation.
