The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice, at its nineteenth session, recognized the importance of reliable inventory data for further work on the implementation of decision 2/CP.3 and agreed to continue consideration of inventory issues relating to this decision at its twenty-second session (FCCC/SBSTA/2003/15, para. 17 (f)). A submission on methodological issues relating to emissions from fuel used for international aviation and maritime transport has been received from one Party.
