At its sixth session, the Conference of the Parties, by its decision 1/CP.6, invited Parties to submit views, by 15 January 2001, on the informal note by the President of COP 6 dated 23 November 2000 for compilation in a miscellaneous document. Twenty-six such submissions have been received. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing
