This document contains a summary of the information presented in the compilation and synthesis report of the sixth national communications and first biennial reports submitted to the secretariat by Parties included in Annex I to the Convention. It provides information on a range of issues relating to the implementation of the Convention, such as:
national circumstances; greenhouse gas emission trends; projections and estimates of the total effect of policies and measures; policies and measures; quantified economy-wide emission reduction targets and progress towards their achievement; the provision of financial, technological and capacity-building support to developing country Parties;
vulnerability assessment, climate change impacts and adaptation measures; research and systematic observation; and education, training and public awareness.
