Abstract The Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP), at its seventh session, continued its deliberations on how to address, where applicable, the definitions, modalities, rules and guidelines for the treatment of land use, land-use change and forestry (FCCC/KP/AWG/2009/5, chapter V B). It invited Parties to submit to the secretariat, by 24 April 2009, views on annex V to the report on its seventh session (FCCC/KP/AWG/2009/5) for
compilation into a miscellaneous document for consideration at its eighth session. The secretariat has received 17 such submissions from 25 Parties. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are contained in this document and reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing
