Abstract

The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) invited Parties and relevant intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations to submit further views on the elements for the development of a work programme with a view to adopting modalities for the operationalization of the work programme and on a possible forum on response measures by 19 September 2011. They requested the secretariat to compile these views into a miscellaneous document for consideration by the SBSTA and the SBI at their thirty-fifth sessions. The secretariat has received five such submissions from Parties. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproduced in the languages in which they were received and without formal editing
