Abstract

The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice, at its thirty-third session, invited Parties and admitted observer organizations to submit to the secretariat, by 28 March 2011, their views on the implications of the inclusion of reforestation of lands with forest in exhaustion as afforestation and reforestation clean development mechanism project activities. The secretariat has received 10 such submissions. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, the eight submissions from Parties are attached and reproduced in the languages in which they were received and without formal editing. In line with established practice, the two submissions from admitted observer organizations have been posted on the UNFCCC website
