| | The Tunisian Association of Climate Change and Sustainable Development (2C2D) is implementing the project The contribution of college Abou El Kacem El Chebbi El Omran to adaptation and mitigation of adverse impacts of climate change, funded by the micro-finance UNDP / GEF, which aims to improve the level of awareness among college students and their environmental performance through the implementation of concrete adaptation and mitigation impacts of climate change.
In this context, the Association 2C2D supports and mentors students in creating a green space in their college. The first action performed on November 14, 2010, has allowed members of the association 2C2D mentoring students in the preliminary work of uprooting of grass, earth moving and then a symbolic planting of some trees.
In a second action, the Association 2C2D and Administration College Abou El Kecem Ecchebbi organizes Sunday, November 21, 2010, from 9:00 am, a morning of planting and management of green space in College Echhebbi Abou El Kacem El Omran. Students will be supervised and supported by members of the Association 2C2D and volunteers in their work planning a green space in their school and planting trees, shrubs, etc.. |
