How does knowledge of social learning and gender transformative research get translated into practicable climate action and equitable livelihoods on the ground? A new open-source blog book entitled “Moving from Knowledge to Action: Blogging research and outcome highlights” published by CGIAR shows you how, while charting key lessons learned over the years.

In a reader-friendly fashion, the blog book illustrates how development research could be combined with innovative approaches in communication and gender-based capacity building. Its rich variety of case-studies spanning knowledge building on climate-smart agricultural practices, to the exploration of participatory methodologies in scenario-mapping and visioning, offer policy-makers, practitioners and researchers a wealth of ideas and tools in enriching their own work.
