Developed by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme, "The Children Take Action ľ a Climate Change Story" is a children's story book that pursues the twofold aim of increasing literacy skills and knowledge about climate change among primary school kids in Kiribati. In a very simplified way, the book enables children to learn the basics of climate change and its impacts on our environment. The story book is available in both English and te-Kiribati and will accompany the new syllabus and teacher guides currently being developed for Kiribati primary schools.
