Global News on Climate Action – The Road to Copenhagen is a monthly newsletter with global news aimed at making it easier for you to keep track of progress in international climate negotiations.

The negotiations on a new international climate change agreement are set to be concluded in Copenhagen in December 2009. Sweden will hold the Presidency for the EU at this time, and the negotiations on climate change will be given the highest priority.

To facilitate keeping track of progress in international climate negotiations, the Swedish EPA, in cooperation with the Swedish Ministry of Environment, would like to offer you the newsletter “Global News on Climate Action”. The newsletter will be published monthly until the meeting in Copenhagen and reflect international media coverage on the issues pointed out in the Bali Action Plan.
