The Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) undertook intersessional informal consultations from 10 to 14 August 2009, as decided by the AWG-LCA at its fifth session. On the organization of work, the Chair had issued an informal Scenario note (76 kB) , applying the conclusions reflected in the report of the AWG-LCA on its sixth session ( FCCC/AWGLCA/2009/10, paragraph 18).

The AWG-LCA had before it the revised negotiating text, contained in document FCCC/AWGLCA/2009/INF.1 (see also the  Readers' guide to the revised negotiating text (132 kB)  prepared by the secretariat).
