ACT Alliance Action pledge
Community Adaptation, Resilience and Disaster Risk Reduction initiatives of the members of the ACT Alliance involve awareness creation, capacity building, policy development, humanitarian response in disasters and community support towards adaptation and DRR in several developing countries. An important aspect of the work include facilitating dialogue governments and local communities on issues related to adaptation and DRR. |

The purpose of this Action Pledge is to equip churches and church based organisations with climate change adaptation, DRR and advocacy skills, to create a platform for global sharing of experiences, and to prepare them to engage in climate change advocacy at national, regional and international levels. |
