PDAP Action Pledge
PDAP’s pledge is to establish community groups through which workshops/local dialogues in Dhaka, Munshigonj and the Khulna Districts of Bangladesh will be implemented. Technology Needs Assessments (TNA) is an important management tool for Bangladesh to formulate development strategies at the national level for adaptation and mitigation. PDAP will implement a TNA in these 3 districts over a 3-5year period. This will reveal how technologies may contribute to long-term development goals, their costs and role in making the areas climate change resilient. From this, PDAP will work with groups to implement awareness-raising, capacity building and water and food security programs while following a clean development path. |
